Hi Every one in charleville,

I am researching my Family Tree, the names of family members from Charleville and Thurles are as follows.

Kavanagh, Maher, Noonan, Ryan, Raleigh, Buckley.

I still have relation in Charleville these are Paddy and Jimmy Ryan.

my granddad was Seamus (James) Kavanagh, who`s Parents were John Kavanagh (Stradavoher) who married Eliza Maher (Quarry st) and they had the following children James (above) Nicholas, Maisie (Mary), Josie (Johanna), Bridget, Sean, Margaret, Eamonn.

i have no info on Nick, Maisie married John Ryan and had 13 children, Josie married unknown Raleigh, Sean married Nancy Buckley and had nine children, Margaret married Dan Mcgill and moved to USA, James married Mable rose Greenwood from Portsmouth, Eamonn moved to Oz ??,

my gr gr gr grandfather was Edward Kavanagh who married Mary Kenna or Kinna they had the following children, Edward, Bridget, Michael, John. the address back then was Stradavoher.

Hi thanks for your message, the address where John (Jack) Kavanagh and Eliza lived was, 77 Holy Cross Place, Charleville.
John was well know in charleville, also in the sport of Hurley ??? or hurling???

That's right, hurling. I'm from Holy Cross too and my family have been living there for quite a while so hopefully I'll be able to get some info for you later today.
